It hurts to see your own car get smashed and you could not do anything. Soon it will be looking like a brand new.

I always try to stay away from women drivers as much as possible. I try not to be in front of them nor in their blind spot. They are always doing something else other than driving.

Will my insurance company help me with a diminished value claim/report?

Just think March 14th

Oh, and an appropriate insurance settlement.

Be sure to post pictures of the offending driver.

Sorry for your troubles...hopefully you can also receive compensation for diminished value. At least you were able make the guilty party accountable.

That said, why the sexism by some on this board?? Stupidity is gender blind.....

So prelim estimate is at $1750. The door skin will need to be painted, fender replaced obviously (I'm going to fight to make sure it's OEM) blend the hood too ugh!

Car is going tomorrow to the body shop. My insurance adjuster will be out on Monday to look at it. I'm in an Altima Hybrid right now. If they get approval Monday-Tuesday it'll be done around the 25th.

I'm leaving next week on a trip so I won't need the car then, which is okay. I already miss my car as weird as that sounds.

Okay spoke with the insurance rep from her insurance company. They accepted full liability which means I won't have to pay my deductable and wait to get reimbursed. She told me they'll even help with a diminished value claim, which I hope isn't some ridiculously low number.

The car is at the body shop now.
