Good video. I like the reviewer. Actually seemed to have a lil pep to it when he was on it. But... I'm on the fence with the 25. I understand the concept to have a "regular" motor for the people not interested in the performance aspect, but to be so limited, no nav., and still not that great on MPG.. I would think for the price point there would be better options.. especially in the FWD category.. because if you don't want/need the 3.7 then you probably don't want/need RWD

To each his own. Nice car and would never flame anyone for buying one. After all it is a G in its own right.

I always thought having a smaller engine was a good idea. The more cars are sold, the better successive generations become.

I drove a loaner g25. Yes the lack of navi and other features is the only thing lacking plus the fact that you can't buy packages for the car is like WTF?

Power wise, obviously not as strong as the 37 but its preppy enough to go around town. I've driven an is250 and the g25 is livelier.

MPG, I can get 29 mpg easily especially on cruise control. I managed to get 394 miles in one tank.. yes I kid you not and the car only had 2k miles on it

I think this is a great car, but its def not for me. And in the 30k price range, you could get a very basic level Maxima, but the interiors on those base Maximas are kinda dull to me, no color screen, black trim around the console, the g25 is definitley better comfort wise, although the Maxima does have 290 hp.

I guess maybe it's a Canadian thing, but for the G25 there are both Nav and Premium packages available, so technically it's possible to equip a G25 to the same level as a G37 here in Canada.

^^^Not in the USA I have priced them before. I guess costs would be too high and the car would begin to slip out of reach financially.

Can you get the sports package too with the G25? As much as I'd love to get one, they don't have that package available on the G25.

Sorry, let me clarify. for the G25 there is only the premium package available. But for the G25x, there is the premium package, nav package, and the sport package available (18" + paddle shifters).

But then if someone is looking for a sport package the G25x sport it is only $3K less than the G37x sport, and it pushes mid $40K CDN MSRP, so seems like better deal to just get the G37x sport in that scenario if someone is looking to spend in that range anyways.

Thanks for clarifying. But Infiniti's marketing strategy still seems baffling to me. Why do they offer a sport package with G25 in Canada and not in the US?

Basically every country operates separately, I think. The models, packages, and options offered, not to mention MSRP, are often different in other countries than in the US. For example, I looked it up and you can't buy a RWD G37 sedan in Canada unless you choose get the 6MT. But it makes sense because most people in Canada want AWD for its winter weather.
