Not a bad car for those who don't want to spend as much or don't need the extra power of the 3.7L. Pretty amazing numbers for braking and skidpad handling, but then again shedding a little weight always helps. Reminds me of the Lexus IS250 - very similar performance.
Having driven a 2010 IS250 back-to-back with the G25 I have to disagree. Handling was soft and biased towards comfort, while the G25 felt much more connected to the road with good steering response. Brakes? The IS250 really dove onto its nose, while the Infiniti felt more composed. Engine response was equally muted in the Lexus and the G25's VQ felt peppier right from throttle tip-in.
Well that's good to hear, I haven't driven either car, but was just going based on some road test results in the magazines. They looked pretty similar in terms of the numbers, but then again driving feel is a different story. It seems like Infiniti released the G25 to compete with the introductory luxury sedans like the IS250 and 328i and it might be a better all around package.

I bought a G25x and it is a sweet car. Love the looks, design and the handling in particular. It's well put together and is a terrific everyday sedan for my purposes. Navi was not important to me, so I did not care - still, I think it is odd that Infiniti makes Navi available on the G25 in Canada, but don't make it available in the US.
