I had a rattle that seemed to be coming from the passenger side, turns out it was the seatbelt base on the passenger seat, I pushed it down between the seat and center console and it was gone.

wow, thanks alot to the helpful comments! I understand that it rattles, we dont need to keep discussing the same point! Now how about we put our thinking caps on and try to deal with it. I may try to insulate it with soundmat, but first stop by and see what the dealer has to say. Here's an example of the soundmatting

The dealer took it apart 2 times and CAN NOT fix it. They "insulated" the inside of the door and it has not helped. The dealer told me that it is NOT a warranty issue and I am on my own with this going forward....

For some reason, rattles have become acceptable in near-lux sports sedans. I have an SUV that is vault quiet, and had a truck before that - also very quiet. Hell, I had a 2000 Maxima that never had a single squeak or rattle.

It's a law of inverse proportions. As manufacturing tolerances and exterior build quality goes up, the quality of interior tolerances and build quality goes down. It shouldn't be true, but it sure seems to be.
tochigi,japan where they make the gt-r & g37.
they only make the g37 & gt-r, are all overseen by a master engine builder. They monitor the build from start to finish.
200 minutes to make a g/gtr.

the rest of the car may rattle like crazy, but at least the motor is solid.

Steering Wheel Rattle

I thought I was the only one with the rattle! Right after I bought my car (brand new 2010 g37s), the steering wheel would rattle after I hit bumps on the road. Not everytime, but enough.

Also my passenger side door started rattling recently. Everything else is perfect with my car but the rattles....argh!

I took the car into the dealer twice...they claimed to fix it but after a week or so, the rattles would come back. Just gave up.

Thought I was the only one....

I've recently developed some rattles in both my front doors that come with loud bass. I'll be trying to put felt in various locations to see if I can solve the problem

Are you going to be taking your door apart? Will you be looking around in the door for any heavy weight-reduction worthy subjects?
