My 09 has this feature, you just need to enable it in the system menu.

HEATED STEERING WHEEL!!!!!!!
My old Infiniti I35 had one, why doesn't the G have one too??? I used to flick that switch, and the wheel would get toasty in no time. It's 20 degrees in NY and the G's wheel is freezing. On a positive note, I'm getting really good at steering with my knees.

Make it handle better.... Not saying it doesn't corner flat or anything, it's just that at the limit the 2nd gen G35/G37 has VERY pronounced understeer with no throttle, and ridiculous(but fun) oversteer with throttle. The chassis could be more composed and could be more neutral with power off(no throttle), instead of tire scrubbing insistent understeer...

1. V8 option
2. Dual clutch auto/manual trans
3. Matt black interior trim option vs the brushed aluminum
4. Reverse tilt-down option for outside mirrors
5. Console mounted hand brake lever
6. I may be nuts but a wagon model would be nice (like the audi)

Me I don't need much but I don't want DRL's or my gas tank moved. I love the fact that most cars have their gas tank on the left. Having on the right side means most of the time I gas up I never have to wait to find an open pump at my local gas stations.

I would like them to use better materials in the interior. The interior materials are cheap and as temperature inside the car changes, they crackle and pop when the materials expand.

My only beef with the gearbox is that the car tends to always cruise in a much higher gear that I would normally choose if it were a manual. In DS mode the car's RPM's should never ever drop below 2500RPM's. I hate it when I'm cruising around town doing 45mph's while in 6th gear with my RPM barely over 1k.

Also I would love to see a DSG type gearbox in the future. But our current manualmatic is good and I'm sure a lot cheaper to maintain and repaired compared to a twin clutch gearbox.

Looks like you've given this alot of thought, wonder what the MSRP would be with all that great stuff though?? Nice list BTW, although you have one massive omission, need much better paint, at least as good as Hyundais.

Good point. I would also like to see the Storm Front Gray on a G, not to leave out.

Yes, this is what I’ve been saying all along. Even if just half the wishes on these lists were actually incorporated into a future G, the MSRP would jump so high that the car would no longer be marketable as an entry-level luxury car. That would surely spell the demise of the G, which I don’t think any of us want.

And assuming Infiniti dealers sell more G’s than their other models, with no more G’s being made, some salesmen may have to be laid off. (jk)

Am I the only one setting of my car alarm with the key in my pocket while at home? Seriously, rework that button on the smart key, should be a sunken button that would require a direct and intentional push! I bend over to pick up a toy and the horn starts blaring in my garage!

Happened to me a few times too, but I guess it needs to be pretty easy to activate since you may be in freaked-out panic mode when you really need it.

I would like the default position on the heated seats to be off like it was on my A6 and is on my wife's Mini Cooper. I rather start the car with heat off and adjust as necessary.
Those of you who want tilt-down side mirrors for parking just set your position 2 on your memory seats in the tilt down position and press 2 when you're parking if you need to. Rear camera is a help and I find the design of the front fenders makes it easy to sense where the curb is on the G.
Yes and the paint compared to my previous cars is awful.
Tilt down rear seats would be great.
