Same here, the dual zone HVAC setup works really well.

I'd like an electronic parking brake.

I'm a coupe guy, but I think I speak for all of us when I say...Use better paint! Other than that, I love the car as is. I do wish that Infiniti would have used the 2nd Gen G35S sedan 18" wheels instead of the 09+ sedans. Talkin bout these...

agree with a little added width, then maybe they can put in some decent cupholders on the console

1. Give the Navigation system more cpu and memory, it is soooooo slow compared to the 2007 G35 I came from. Granted the screen is better but the UI is crap.
2. Restore all the voice commands and name tags, the new voice command is far too clunky and menu branch driven. (I used to say "Phonebook Home" and now I have to say even with the alternate mode on "Vehicle Phonebook", "Home", "One", "Dial" it's crazy!)
3. Release software updates for the NAV not just for Map Updates.
4. Make the center console longer my arm is always on the hard plastic.
5. Restore the second LED map light by the sunroof controls it looks weird with just one on the passenger side.
6. Echo the fold down seats comments.
7. Improve the bluetooth connectivity and BT stack. I get "Failed call" all the time and have to restart my G at a light for bluetooth to work again.

ventilated (cooled) front seats. i could benefit from this more than the heated feature which i rarely use.

Dear Infiniti ...

Make the 7AT shift the same way the previous 07-08 5AT shifted - no lag, extremely quick shifts with NO hesitation between gears

+1 on louder exhaust for sedan (um - hello?!?! - this is a "high-performance luxury sports sedan"!)

Re-program the ECU to allow full power in 1st and 2nd gears under 3,000 rpm (don't even tell me it's not that way - because it so is)

I recognize that the 7AT's gear ratios were probably selected to maximize fuel economy, but I would gladly welcome revised ratios - especially a 6th and 7th gear that are not SO close to one another

And how about some better mileage - if we have 7 gears, I think we should definitely get 19/27 for a G37x instead of the current 18/25. Make 6th and 7th gear taller if need be ... and make that 2nd gear a touch taller too!

Make the transmission response time using the paddle shifters MUCH faster

Make a friggin' cutout in the center console for my phone charger!!

Bring back the old gauge needles from the 07-08 models - Either red or white is fine. I prefer the less crowded '10 gauges overall - I just have a major preference for the older needles.

+1 re: having to manually adjust the automatic climate control!

A little more rear seat leg room

+1 re: fold-down rear seats - that would be a very nice change!

Better options for exterior colors - a dark metallic teal? a dark metallic gold? (not that Smoky Quartz "I am not sure what color I am" crap) Or a completely obnoxious heavy metallic off-white. Maybe even a Metallic burgandy - I've seen pictures of the G in that color, but I suppose that the color is not intended for the U.S.

Please, please, please change the AM-FM-XM pre-sets ... I HATE the fact that I must cycle through two XM pre-sets (that I don't use because I refuse to pay for satellite radio) in order to access the other stations. Please return to three or four sets of 6 presets that I can set for any AM, FM, or satellite station of my choice (as in the 08 model) ... please.

Wow - and I thought I wouldn't have anything to write ...

* Smooth out the 7/AT
* Paint quality/orange peel is poor for a car at this price range...Hyundai is much better
* Stereo could be stronger
* Too much road noise

here is something new for the interior: redesign coin holders! Currently, when I have some change in there and do spirited driving (making sharp turns), coins slip out of the console and fall right between front seats. Try to fish anything out of there!

^^^ This.

I would also add, like others, better quality leather and folding rear seat (at least the option).

But if they would fix the tranny, paint, and obnoxious road / tire noise (just add some real sound insulation), this car would be excellent. For now, it's good.

in general, I love my 2010 G37x

minor changes requested:

1. electronic push-button parking brake rather than the 1970's foot pedal version

2. standard HID fogs

3. adaptive headlights

I've read every request posted and could only come up with 3 that would effect me the most.
1) Bigger cup holders
2) Better lumbar support (preferably electric)
3) Higher quality paint

COOLED SEATS PLEASE!!! Summer heats in Vegas is a kill. It gets 115degree mid July so cooled seats would be a pleasure. I drove a FX35 and I loved the cooled seats

- Cooled seats
- better hand brake
- Less confused 7AT, slightly taller 2nd gear
- go back to A-B-C presets!!!!!
- Allow to play by artist in Music Box like it USED to do
- Restore voice commands from 07
- Make the operating system speedier
- Make the steering wheel lift on exit/enter on the coupe as it does in the sedan
- Mount the seatbelts on the seat OR use an extension arm to give it to you

@nova - HID's are standard, adaptive headlights are an option
@G37NC - the lumbar support is electric
@LINY - fold down seats are standard in the coupe, it would be nice to see the same in the sedan.
