Small things for me:

Fold down rear seats
Both a USB and IPOD hookup. Cmon infiniti was it really worth saving the 10 cents it would have cost to add another usb port?

The center console lid. Opening the way it does makes it so difficult to get in there when driving. If it opened up sideways...

[quote=AvosG37;2998469]why move the gas fill to the driver's side?

I'm just use to the gas fill being on the driver's side. There have been a few times when I got out and started putting in gas and then my wife would get out to use the rest room, get a lotto ticket or walk the dog and she had to walk around the car because the hose was blocking the passenger side.
Also, with the gas filler door on the driver's side you open the drivers door toward the pump instead of toward traffic in the station.
Fairly lame excuse for wanting the gas fill moved, but it seems more logical to be on the side of the car where the driver exits.
There is nothing with the G that I can't live with.
My list is just very minor nit picking for my particular taste.

I'd be happy if the automatic climate control actually works. In fact the #1 annoyance to me about the G is that I have to manually adjust the temporature setting down in the morning, back up at lunch time, and down again when going home. With my previous BMW, I set it at 75 and never had to touch it again.

cooled seats, heated rear seats, turn signal mirrors, decent cupholders that can hold more than one 8oz cup without tilting the other, take a lesson from Audi on interior finishes including better quality leather

BIG werd for this! I hate the auto climate system in this car. And is it me, or does the dual zone do absolutely NOTHING? I can set the passenger to 80 and the driver to 60 and nothing changes....

+1 on all of that. I'm in the process of buying winter wheels and tires, and I'm finding that I like every Enkei wheel I've looked at better than the stock 18" wheels on the G37S.

The gas cap complaint is strange....it make more sense on the passenger side

Heated Steering wheel
Fold Down Rear Seats
Upgraded Leather option
Led Blinkers for mirrors
Dump Bose and go with dynaudio - my wifes passat destroys my "Studio on wheels" I'm doing a focal install soon to eliminate the issue.
Better floor carpet
Suede Headliner (like BMW M5)
Window shades for rear seats and back window
AWD 6speed option

As I stated in the OP, my wish list is for my particular taste.
Could you explain why you think it would be strange to have the gas filler on the driver's side? There are quite a few vehicles that have that setup.
