Just got back from a 500 mile trip. Some traffic streets, a lot of highway and a lot of twisty hilly country roads. Averaged 70.1 MPH and 24.2 MPG. Much better than I thought it would do. Started the trip with under 900 miles on the clock. Really happy with that for 328 HP and AWD. Really solid in the hills and a cruiser on the highway until you need to pass and then it gets up and goes.

im in love with those red seats... Reminds me of the imola red M3 seats.

 

We had a 335i with terra seats, alpine white car; we liked that a lot. Wasn't sure about this red-red at first; but now it really is OK.

 

we had a mercedes SLK with the red/black seat combo. loved it.

after 1500 miles my mileage increased. at a constant 70 mph I am seeing 26+

Just made a trip to Miami from Atlanta yesterday, average speed was 74.1 mph, and 26.1 mpg. I could of done better but couldn't resist doing few short acceleration runs to 120 on open roads.... In the beginning of my trip I was getting 27 mpg when i was doing 70-75 mph.... Funny thing is that my mini cooper s averaged 26 mpg when I drove up to Chicago just few months ago..

 

I hope you didn't run upto 120 in state of Georgia. GA recently passed Super Speeder law. Basically you can fined H*LL out of you if you go over 85 in any GA roads.
