"Predictive Guidance Lines" for Rearview Camera Disappeared!

Just picked up my new '10 G37 with navigation yesterday. All was well until this morning on the way to work. When I place the car in reverse, the Rearview Montior's yellow "Predictive Guidance Lines" that "turn" with the steering wheel to show the path of the vehicle seem to have disappeared. I toggled this setting Off/On via the Nav screen's settings and restarted the car.. but nothing I tried restored this feature. Anybody with the same issue have ideas on how to resolve?

Thx

If you are going exactly backwards they disappear and reappear if you turn the wheel. Maybe thats it?

I noticed it too one night when I was trying to parallel park but my low fuel warning was on so I don't know if it implicates that since it was back to normal after I filled up.

Weird.....exact same thing happened to me last Thursday. I changed the setting back and forth 3 or 4 times but that didn't fix it. I stopped and started the car a few times but that didn't do anything either. Then I had the car off for about 5 min, turned it on and they were back.

It was a wicked hot day....not sure if that had anything do to with it......

that's why you don't mess with the settings unless you need to

Thing is....I've never changed the setting. It's been "on" since buying the car (~3 months ago)..... I didn't change it until I noticed the predictive lines were not longer showing up....

That's similar to what happened to me a couple months ago. Predictive lines were missing when I started my car and left my place. Were still missing when I left work - magically reappeared the next morning. Haven't had it happen to me again since.
