Looks nice, but how come they cut around the brake light? I think it looks better when the whole window is tinted.

not sure why he did that...either couldn't get the tint between it and the window or a state law(?)

Hi Kenny!

actually I bought this last fall, and loved it so much, I was seriously thinking of getting the 'vert in addition to this one, until "reason" finally grabbed me and said "too much money."

I agree with BLKG37X. It looks a little strange with it cut out around the brake light. Unless you asked for them to do that, I would take it back and ask them to redo it. I don't even know why they would do that.

guy that did the tint says he does all cars that way; does not tint over the rear window brake light unless the rear deck is removed, and he doesn't remove interior car parts like that. it's too tight a space between the brake light fixture and the window.

doesn't bother me; looks fine.

when I got mine tinted, the installer didnt have to remove anything...

tinted behind the brake light with no issues...

but as long as you like it, thats all that matters!

As for the brake light, I'll just leave it at this....
.....next time you need tint, find a different guy

Otherwise, it looks great. I have mine tinted the same 35%. I like it, light enough to be able to see okay at night, but dark enough to look good and block a fair amount of sun.

In order to get in there I think they need to remove the brake light. But I'm not sure because I wasn't there to see how they did it on mine. I just told him to tint the whole thing, and they did. In NY it's all illegal anyway, so might as well make it look good.

i just got mine done today as well and the shop tinted over the 3rd brake light. i did asked him about that and the tint guy said they usually tint over it unless the customer requests not too.

I paid $200. Sunroof was already tinted, but they charged me $20 to tint the sunroof on my previous car.
