Bumper Cover Warning

I was sitting in my parked car last month waiting for the person behind me to exit their spot. The next thing I know this moron backed into my car. My baby had 3200 miles on it and I was not happy. When I first looked at my car everything seemed fine. A closer inspection showed the holes where my license plate lights where bolted in had ripped. This damage could have easily been not noticed due to its location. I quickly realized although it was minor it was going to be expensive to fix because the bumper cover was going to have to be replaced. The person who hit me was convinced this was no big deal an easy fix! Three hours later I have her friend calling me to say not to notify her insurance because it was not a "real" accident. I had the car fixed through my insurance in less than a week. When it was done they billed her insurance. On the bright side I had my car fixed at a shop that was was recommended by the dealer. A perfect job with a factory bumper cover and an excellent paint match. The cost of the repair was $953. My point of all this is to give a heads up. If your car is hit please check it carefully. My car looked fine at first glance. I would have been bummed if I did not notice the damage at the time of the accident and left without getting her information because I assumed there was no damage.

Over here, you'd have to pay deductible on that
