Well, I just got home and not too happy. They resurfaced the rotors. says R/F .003mm and L/F .002mm
They said the breaks were fine. I told them I was unhappy but they didn't seem to care too much.

Debating on complaining to Infiniti about it.

I bet the result will happen again later. Resurfacing the rotor is only a temp fix.

Only thing you could do now is just wait until it happens again.

I would drive hard on the brakes putting them to the test.

this is the notes.

Found front rotors have slight excessive runout. R/F .003mm, L/F .002mm. Resurfaced rotors.

I am going to put some miles on the car over the next few days to see if this problem was fixed.

I may end up giving corporate a call or something in the next day. I just wanted to sleep on it first.

Well, I slept on it. It still kind of annoys me that a car with such low miles on it has to have resurfaced rotors. I guess I should really drive the car around a bit before complaining? I also assume I should probably talk to the service manager before doing anything more drastic.

resurfacing will make the rotors weaker as they shave off a layer of the rotor;more prone to warping. you can call consumer affairs but since they fixed it for now, i doubt they would help much. when they issue occurs again, i would take it to the dealer and if they arent cooperating, get consumer affairs involved. that always seems to get the ball moving faster

will you still own it for 39 months and in that time span, if your rotors warp then you have to get them replaced; as your braking will vibrate like crazy. I wouldnt worry about it too much at this point. they tried to fix it, if it happens again you have an basis to fight on for a new rotor

question - Do we have to bed our brakes? if yes then could this be caused by not bedding them in? If not i think you may have had a defective pad that was causing the uneven wear. changing the pad and resurfacing might be ok. Let us know what happens in the next couple of days.
