Yeah, a local shop has an AWD Dynojet so planning to get a baseline, flash it immediately after and then get some post-flash numbers.

expect to lose gains in the top end with the HP tuner. Couple dynos have been done already with it. And it doesn't adjust/tune with new mods. that still in the works.

Yeah, I've seen conflicting dyno graphs (surprise, surprise) showing both a loss up top and a slight gain, but all show a significant gain in mid-range, which for a daily driver I'll take; not spending a whole lot of time ringing it out...and figured if they end up with options for the mods it'll be available as a downloadable update.

true, enjoy!

I still would say a simple ecu reflash is a much better choice.

Yeah, I'm going to wait to see what I get on the dyno before 'deciding' which *would* have been better to go with, lol....can always do an uprev or technosquare reflash later too but the ease of going back to stock with the hypertech is a nice plus.

My Berks HFC are on their way thanks to Kyle at Import Parts Pro who was very responsive to my PM and questions.

Thanks,
Ron

I can't blame you...Not sure what their thinking is. From 10' away they look mint and even up close they look great from certain angles....

Yep...that's them.

FYI...anyone doing your own Exhaust or Sway Bars...invest in some nice plastic drive on Ramps...No jack needed and they last forever and need no maintenance.

I had the unorthodox underdrive crank pulley on both my 03.5 Sedan and 05 Coupe...Dealer installed...no issues whatsoever...but for money...and install....no real feel in butt dyno so unless you are hunting for every last c-hair of power...or in my case I was hunting the 13s at the track...than not worth it...but save IMHO.

They have a side by side graphic:

Infiniti G37 Dynapack Test Results

Kinda hard to see it given its size, but from the looks of things, there are slight gains at all the good spots.

Not as significant as what some of the others claim, but given the ease of install/maintenance, it's a good trade-off in my mind.

I know I did NOT gain anything down low w/the R2C...and the Tanabe's are just for sound/looks (aghh lol), but if I lost anything down low for Torque it's minimal and here is my thoughts on that...I would rather give up a bit of down low grunt and not blow the tires out to accept more through the mid and top b/c you will see that on the HWY and in the 1/4 mi which is where it counts...unless you are just a 0-60 stop light to stop light kind of person...ha ha...but not me.

This is the last thing I want to do...Had Technosquare on 03.5 Sedan and AAM on my 05 Coupe...Not happy with either one...

What do you recommend? Hand helds like the bullydog worked sick on our 07 Armada and a local dealer does the Wester's Tunes at his house and for my 08 Sierra Denali (running 14.4 at 96 in 1/4 mi with HEAVY Silverado SS 20" wheels) that worked sick...but I am torn on what to do for the new G....

LOL 0 - speed limit pretty fast is how I am! haha

But yeah... mid-range is where you get the most usable power IMO!

As far as a tune... you'd probably get the most gains with UpRev... or even via a custom tune with a COBB AP. At least with the COBB (and even a basic "tune" with the Hypertech), you have a physical device that you can sell later on down the road.
