I know it's early, but any rumors about 2011?
I had some time so did a google search. Looks like it might be true. I like the idea of a turbo and 280 hp if it got slightly better mileage. My Legacy GT got 27mpg on the highway and plenty of power for passing. Felt as quick or quicker than the G.

It is apparently going to be the non-turbo 2.5L.
I'm sure there will be minor appearance and option changes, but if you wait until 2011, then you'll probably lament the changes on the 2012, and so on. If you need a new car now, I'd go ahead and pull the trigger.
just some FYI... the G37x sedan has a EPA of 18/25 while the IS250 is 19/26...just say the G25 will probably be better figures for fuel efficiency
Why? The torque from electric motors is instantly available. The Tesla has a 3.7 second 0-60 time. Having a hybrid so you still get the cool exhaust sound and the added power of the electric motor(s) would be best of both.
I doubt there will be a G Hybrid as a M Hybrid is coming out with a 3.5L V6. That would put the output in the same league and robs the M of novelty.
The G25 is coming out without turbo to compete with the likes of 323/328, IS250, TSX, etc. It looks the same except for the badge.
I think in the new generation, Nissan will do D.I. on the engine if they haven't already started using Mercedes engines :P
