Well, if C&D hasn't tested the 2010 Infiniti G37 yet, how are they supposed to put it on the list? They do mention that one was being replaced so it was left out.......I think that they would be referring the the G.

Car magazines test vehicles months in advance; they just can't write about it. Look at the new Infiniti M, Edmunds posted pictures of it a back in September but said that they couldn't write about it for a few months. All the magazines have had a chance to drive the 2010 G if they wanted to. Since it's just a styling change they could probably just test drive a new 2009 and then look at an 2010 to comment on it. I guess C&D felt that there were better cars this year than the G.

If they tested it that would mean pictures so no, I don't think they could have imo.

You couldn't have summarized how everyone feels any better. It's just ridiculous to me.

On Car Reviews - 2010 Car Reviews at CARandDRIVER.com Car Buying Resource they list all the cars they had to reveiw. The G37 is listed. But it doesn't say what model year, and it does state previous winners are re-invited.

I sent infiniti an e-mail with a pretty simple question. What was the best way to maintain scratch shield paint as far as washing, waxing and detailing. First response was we don't understand what your asking. I replyed and asked again and they said contact the closest infiniti dealer for help in maintaining my infiniti.

Silly waiting

Prolonging the debut of the G37 does seem counter-productive. Its not like they are going on sale for 20K. Does Infiniti act this slowly with warranty issues?

I could care less if they won one of the Top 10 List... I think it was because the 2010 Infiniti G was not ready yet so they couldn't rate the same exact 2009 g37 sedan they tested early in the year.

Also, the scratch shield paint is gone b/c the body shops didn't know how to paint it correctly after an auto collision which ruined it for all of us. It's a timely process with many layers to get the effect working

Thank you

I stand to be corrected but I believe only 2 spots are taken by cars in this segment. One spot is reserved for BMW and a second for whatever is new that year, this year the S4 came out and there is no way the G was going to beat that to the 2nd spot. In fact going forward, its most likely going to be those 2 cars taking those 2 spots.

I sure hope this is just me being very sleepy on a Sunday morning-
But I've been looking at this list of exhibitors for the LA auto show and I don't see Nissan or Infiniti.

Has this been mentioned here already..??

Take a look and correct me if i'm wrong.

I think I'll still go anyway.

it's suprising they only wrote the Audi S4 and no S4/A4... while the BMW has the whole 3-series line up on the list.

I would never think the 328 /328 x-drive would be a fun factor-- 335i-- of course
