My '09 sedan suddenly has this creak/squeak noise on the driver's side near the visor. Does anybody hv this issue or know what it is? It is starting to bug the hell out of me considering the amount of money for this car. A couple of people sat in my car and noticed it also and asked me about it. Its kind of embarrassing.

It would squeak whenever I go over a bump on the driver's side. But not always. I hv checked and removed everything in my car. The noise is still there..urrrg

 

I have this issue too and it's very annoying. If I put pressure on the small part of headliner between the windshield and sun visor, the creaking stops. I notice it most at freeway speeds on uneven surfaces. Time to go back to the dealer. :-(

 

no .. but i have a rear deck rattle that's pretty annoying

 

I have an annoying rattle from the front dash area which I cannot track down. It started on a cold day when I hit some uneven pavement and has not stopped since. It may be coming from visor area now that you mention it...I pressed down on the dash and put pressure against the windshield and neither stopped it so probably looking the wrong place.

Hell yes, I have squeaks all over the place, including the same spot you're referencing. The last time I took it in, the dealership claimed that it was some bearings in the sunroof. Of course, the rattle is back. They have also put some felt between the windshield and the headliner to no avail. I had a 04 TL before this that had squeaks in it too. I agree that it is very annoying to spend $35K+ on a car that squeaks!!

 

Just went to the dealership for an oil change. Asked them to take a look at the squeak. They advised me that it is due to a windshield rattle. They hv put some felt around the edges. So far so good. Cross my fingers.

 

i have heard about this before and it was do to a cross bracket in the roof where the welds break. just a few few cars so far i guess.
