ur slip light goes on and it locks down thats why...turn the traction off you can powerslide all day but i wouldnt recommend it especially on the streets or freeway
Could it be that you are hitting water puddles? that will pull the car one way or another, and may seem like a jerk depending on how fast you are going.
Either your hydroplaining, or your accelerating too hard and loosing traction causing the VDC to kick in which makes it feel like the car could be jerking.
VDC will cut fuel or spark (I have forgotten which or both) once slip is sensed. Likely your cause. Turn off VDC as per posts above which will eliminate the issue. Keep in mind, though, no computer nanny to save you if you are too fast on a blind, decreasing radius turn ;-)
I've experienced the same on several makes/models of 4WD cars. Don't know if
your car is 4wd, but if it is get a 4-wheel allignment and make sure your tires
are properly inflated....These will help immensely.
