To reset that,
  • Hit the top button on the right side of the instrument cluster until you see the Skip, Alert, Maintenance, etc. screen appears in the red area.
  • Use the bottom button on the right side of the instrument cluster to highlight Maintenance and then hit the top button to select.
  • Use the bottom button on the right side of the instrument cluster to highlight the desired maintenance item, i.e. Engine Oil, and then hit the top button to select.
  • Select Reset.
  • Repeat for any other maintenance item.

BTW - Page 2-24 to 2-26 in owners manual. Not clear, but it should help.

sadly did not work. had to jack up the setting mileage to make it think that there is still room. not a good way as it defeats the purpose of the reminder

I'm sure yours is programmed differently than everyone else's.

What year model?

I admit it's not very intuitive. You have to switch between the top and bottom buttons in order to move around and select the option. It took me several minutes of frustration to figure it out. Fortunately, Kwik Kar (who changes my oil) resets it for me now.

Can you stop by an Infiniti dealer and get them to show you?

The only option remaining is to contact the dealer. I am not sure I will get an answer without being raked over the coals. I may have to call Infiniti and see what can be done
I agree that it sounds peculiar that one car does not behave like the others, so either I am missing something very basic or the book is not listing it or the system is faulty
Thanks to all for their time

I can't imagine they'll give you a hard time. My Infiniti dealer treats me like a king. Just pull up near the service department and ask someone who doesn't look busy...

no offense here...but if you cant even reset the maint log on the car then there is no hope for you. Its literally 30 secs, for either...dash or LCD screen and not mention step by step broken down above you in this thread from 8 years ago that you had to bump!
