New G Owner

I purchased my new G the end of June. I was a loyal Honda owner for 7 years. I enjoyed both the accords I owned, but I was now interested in a luxury car that stood out in the crowd. I am so glad I made the switch over to Infiniti. I also researched many cars for a while, like many of you, and made my decision based on performance, style, features, reliability, and price. This is a great car that is rediculously fun to drive. Thanks to all of you in this forum for the great resource you provide. I have learned a great deal and I look forward to checking the forum daily.

I agree - I have a guy I know form my college weight room who was discussing new cars he was considering for purchase; he told me it was between a new Accord, or a BMW 528, or a G37 sedan. I asked him why put the Accord in there, it's not in the same ballfield in terms of performance, driving, or anything else; he tried to tell me that they all drove really similar in his opinion - he didn't even know the bmw and the G were RWD, didn't know the diff, thought the accord was fast, lordy! It was a tough conversation to have without losing my mind.

Don't get me wrong, Accord is a great car, but it is just so dissimilar from the other two in terms of , well, everything.

G is a great car. Very well put together as a package - hope you enjoy!

Congrats on the new G - you made a good decision. It's still a reliable Japanese car just like Honda and as an added bonus you won't have trouble passing cars on the road.

I am a long time accord driver myself. I made decision on performance, and price and I have to say, I know I made the right decision.
Given the price range, there are so many cars to choose from. For me came down to 2 other choices. BMW 335i, and IS350.
Both great cars and higher sticker price.

G37 was my choice because price was similar to BMW 328, but performed like BMW 335i.. and priced like IS250 but performed like IS350.
