Just Picked up my new Moonlight White G37xS Sedan! - Pics
Hello All,
New to this forum! I bought my first Infiniti G35 back in 2003. I am turning in my 2006 M35 next week and picked up a new Moonlight White G37xS Sedan! Nav/Premium/Sport with Stone Interior. Here are a few observations:
1.) Wow! You can really feel the 48 extra horses compared to the 2006 M35! Very fast car!
2.) Never had white, but really like it.
3.) Drove both a all wheel drive and non all wheel drive...could not tell the difference in acceleration or feel...Decided to get the X ...because we do get some snow in Central Ohio.
4.) Glad I got the Sport package. I like the 18" wheels vs. 17" wheels...I also like the sport front facia and side sills...
5.) I added the Lip spoiler...I think it just gives the car a little more "edge" compared to the chrome thing...
6.) I miss the Tire Pressure readout that my M had....
Is there anyway to hack the "info" screen to read the tire pressure?
7.) Paddle shifters a fun to play with...I seem to be using them more to help in brakeing...
8.) Did not get the tech package...Never used the laser cruise in the M and I could live without the adaptive headlights...
9.) I test drove an Acura TL SH-AWD...Nice car..lots of gadgets...Terrible look...the G37 sedan is leaps and bounds a better looking car...
I have only had the car for a week...so I plan to report back with more observations soon...meanwhile here are some pictures!

As others have said, looks great!!!
I'm getting close to pulling the trigger myself. I'm struggling on the Sport vs non-Sport but for sure AWD.
Please do tell.... exactly what are the "side sills"? Can I see them in the pics?
My one concern on the Sport package (besides extra cost) is the ride. I'm getting conflicting info on what suspension is on the AWD sport (web says it's not the sport suspension and same as color glossy). The sales person was confident that AWD sport had the sport suspension. Given I don't want too harsh a ride, I don't really want the sport suspension.
Also I like the look of the 18" wheels but again worried about the ride. Is it bumpy/choppy? How about road noise?
Also I'm going to check replacement cost of tires on 18" vs 17" rubber....

Riley,
Side Sill here...

The ride is definitely sportier than my M, but the ride is by no means harsh. I was under the impression that the X sport did not get the sport suspension...who knows? 18" tires are great! I am actually glad to have the firmer ride after a much softer ride in the M.
I have noticed very little road noise with the Dunlop Sport Maxx all season performance tires...
