21.5 and 20.5 on the past two tanks. Suburban driving with plenty of stop lights and prob 10% highway.

Perhaps people can start providing feedback on the type of gas they are using too. My dealer tank was QT, my current tank is BP Ultimate, which provided superior mpg vs. other brands in my Audi, so I thought I would stick. Second choice for me is Shell VPower. Personally, the Audi never enjoyed Chevron, so I will likely avoid it in the G37.

Already seeing an improvement in BP vs. QT, combined with more miles on the run in stage.

I've been Costco only. Got to love paying ~10 to 25 cents less than everyone else

I unfortunately average between 17.8 - 18.1... i don't think I drive to aggresive.. I'm going to try to be very gentle on the throttle

It could be your location (more stop and go than most), or it may be you

Try shifting for max economy per the manual - at 8mph / 16 mph / 25 Mph / 28 Mph and 33Mph...I try to keep close to that at times; I've made a 15 mi trip in city/suburban driving with hills at around 24mpg doing that. Depending on the crowd/temperament of cars around you, you may not even be driving slower than the flow (it surprised me).

Computer Read between 22 and 23 first tank

I'm delighted with that for the first tank of gas in this car. The gas was also from Quik Trip (dealer supplied), and with my Audi I got better mileage from BP or Shell, so this time I used BP ultimate for my refill. If the gas mileage improves after the run in period, coupled with better quality fuel, I can easily see me averaging 24 mpg.

My mpg was higher, but today I sat mostly in traffic for the 30 miles I drove, reducing my average. Overall very impressed, the car and consumption is fine, its just damn high oil prices that hurt. I'll report back with week 2 data.
Filled up for the second time today, with the following results:

Miles on tank: 363
Refill: 15.37 Gallons
Price: $4.23

First tank consumption: 23.6mpg

An improvement tank over tank. The weekly driving was the same, however the driving style was more aggressive on the second tank. I used BP ultimate. I'll see how the next tank does and report back, but overall am thrilled; this car does better than my Audi A4!

Another tank down the cylinders and out the tail pipe - 21.38 mpg, and paid $4.00 to fill up with 91.

On my 4th tank of gas consistantly getting 20.5 mph. 92 oct @ $4.60 gal. (Strange how we drivers in Washington State get poked with higher gas prices with a refinery only 50 miles away.) Pretty much 57 mph speed on highway driving. On a different note, I sometimes feel like I'm the bas*rd child G37 with an automatic but lov'in every second of it.

DAMN! That's crazy MPG you got there. Is it mostly highway driving?

LEON C626; that’s mainly track driving, on the highway I average 39mpg.

In all seriousness my driving is 80/20 highway/city, however about 25% to 40% of that highway is spent in stop and go traffic (you know the kind, 0mph one moment, 30mph the next, then 10mph, followed by 50mph). My mpg is relatively good on the highway as I drive sensibly then as you tend not to get there any quicker by rapid acceleration, mostly 6th gear cruising between 75mph and 80mph. The 20% city tends to be driven a little more aggressively, typically towards the end of my tank of gas, and I watch my mpg plummet!!

Just passing the 1,000 mile mark...nearing the 4th refill...seem to be in the 17-19mpg range and the trend (based on reset at each fill-up) is higher...20% hwy/80% city.
