Miles Per Gallon Feedback
thanks.. so i basically stop n go every block.. 98 % city 2 % highway lol jumped on the highway like twice theren back 5 miles. Other then that i just ride in 2nd. So maybe its jsut the break in, and i never go over 4 i switch right around 3.5 rpms or 4 even.
about 5 tanks so far...just beyond break-in...lowest so far 21...highest 23 (first tank babying it)
60% hwy 40% country road back and forth to work...avg speed overall about 40mph...
really loving the 5-6K rpm shifts...this things screams...If I don't get a ticket, I'll be amazingly lucky.

I drive short distances in-city (except 2 days in the weekend when i go see my gf and that's 4 miles on highway one way), and consistently average between 19-20 mpg. I drive my G very, very soft...plus it's still in the break-in period.

so,
after break-in, and supposedly with a better mileage,
are you expecting a close-to-paper-like mpg?
g35 i had was a nightmare in terms of mpg,,, even after break in,,,
my parents rx350 even manages to do bettter.
i hope that would not be the case for g37 though

this has been discussed more than Britney's beaver....
my overall avg is around 15.4 but thats because i do 80% local stop and go driving and only 20% hwy...im sure if i did hwy/cty 50/50 i would be gettin around 18-19 mpg
