the rear looks disturbingly like a Solara's, but otherwise, the car looks hot. i love the udpated trademark Infiniti analog clock. to be honest, the current one is an eyesore.

If this concept will stay true to the production...I'm buying it. I'm not kidding!

If you thought the G35 coupe is popular now...just wait until this drops! Plus i think Infiniti is slowly moving toward the 50K pricetag for the coupe. The days of buying a new coupe for 36k are officially over! That thing is great.

I'm sure they'll be an MT version - they're probably just showing off their fancy new paddle shifters.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned yet......

"S2000 called and wanted its side crease back plus interest"

I say nice touch. We all know the current G35C doors look way too tall and big. That forward slant from the S2000 is an excellent way of hiding the huge doors. Certainly better than some fancy useless grills like what Ford chose to do with the Mustang.

I think overall the car looks great. Nice transition to the next level of the new look.

Aside from it being still a concept, i'm sure a lot of things will still change on it. Hopefully the rear will not see the production and most of the interior styling will.

-Thumbs up for the paddle shift.
-I would really like a sunroof please
-That front grill has got to go.
-Can anyone say BREMBO's

Is it me or does the car seems a lot longer? Last thing it needs is extra weight. Its a fat **** bitch as it is. Hope they are still keeping in mind that this car is supose to be designed for the track

I'm sure the price now will be closer to 40k and over. Ifiniti placed the brand name pretty well now its time for them to start cashing in and going after other luxury automakers market share.

Remember that feeling we all had when we first laid eyes on the '03 G35 Coupe? Well, I'm getting that feeling all over again

Silverbolt -

If you look at the 2 o'clock position of the steering wheel there is a shift level for manumatic mode - like the BMW's, etc...

Overall I mostly like it...I dont really like the wheels.
That steering wheel looks like it came out of a 1960 Plymouth, it was an odd shape as well! HaHa!

Why would Infiniti boost the price range of a good selling car, I bet you're wrong about the $50k price.

because they are in business of making money.

They position their brand on the market to rival other competitors such as bmw and lexus. They set the benchmark and now can easily move up higher $ bracket. I dont know if they are going to go up as far as 50k just yet, but wouldnt be surprised if they make it to at least 40k with 2007.

theres no chance itd go that high, its an entry level luxury car. im guessing its going to be around 35k, around the same as the IS350, worst case its 37k on par with the BMW 3 series. though i highly doubt itd be more than 35k

Igo said the current-generation G35 coupe remains in the lineup for at least a year, while the G35 sedan will be replaced after this model year. Infiniti plans to preview the new G35 sedan in April at the New York Auto Show, he added.
So the 07 G35 will still look like the current model and this one will be released as a 08 which probably won't go on sale until late 07. Since I refuse to buy the first model year of any new (or changed) car, the first debugged version of this car will be an 09 (sold in late 08) which fits my car buy schedule nicely.
