Let it come from the factory with 350 horses and I'll pay $45,000 if it looks like that.

Like someone mentioned earlier...Infiniti introduced a good product. They offered it at a great price when you measure how much you're getting compared to BMW, Mercs, etc. Don't forget either...Infiniti is a relatively new car company so they are fighting hard with their competitors! I can't see how Infiniti can offer that much style, performance, reliability, and jaw-drop-effect without making people pay for it. And if the coupe ever reaches the mid-to-high 40k range...people will adjust...this is America, everyone lives outside of their means!

I would have to agree with ABQ_G35. I just can't see Infiniti boosting the Coupe's price $15K. I am sure the price will go up, but I highly doubt $15k. I guess time will tell.

BTW, those photos above are pretty much what I was expecting in terms of a 'major face-lift' the 2007 model, and obviously Infiniti succeeded.
It's a new model, not a face lift. This new G Coupe won't be available until 2007 as a 2008 model. Or do you still insist that this car will come out this year as a 2007 model?

One way Infiniti can legitimately increase the price of the coupe is to increase the HP. So if they offer the coupe with 350+ horses i say it may be possible. Plus.. once you start tallying up options and extras.. it's possible. Don't expect incentives on this car btw! My 2003 coupe's ( since sold) final price was about 41K.

But in retrospect...i admit that my prediction may be on the high side, but i wouldn't rule it completely out!

Don't forget that Infiniti has been slowly raising the price of the coupe every year--so, by the time this one comes out you will have about 3 years of increases plus whatever premium the new coupe will have and could be about 8k more than a 2004.

Did anyone else notice how looooong that hood is?

You could fit a V8 in there.

overall, the extrior is not as good as I wish it were. The interior is an orgasm in itself... about the gear shifter... I hope its that ugly so that people buy MT insteado AT. AT on sporty cars... oh boy.

looks great!!! i'm not down with the rear though. considering how often times the concept cars differ from the actual production cars (i.e. the concept fx's), i wonder if this will be closer to the new gt-r styling? just a thought
