why would they replace a $35k car with a $50k -__- thats like saying Lexus will replace the IS300 with the IS350 at $50k, achem then its gona enter the range of a GS & LS or the umm.. M45!!.. what part of this car would make it price over what it already is? keep in mind 2007 is also the year their skylines comming out.. as much as we'd like to see Infiniti price the 07 G as a $50,000 luxury 400hp super car its not going to happen. its target its going to be the IS350, Audi A4, BMW 3, Benz C-Class, etc.. at the high $30k-mid $40k just like the way it is now. Also the IS350 will be due for a MT (Assuming they keep their tradition of releasing the AT IS a year before the MT) and the 3series coupe will be out by then.

Panaramic Roof... all 08 mercedes will have this so whats special..
Paddle Shifters.. Lexus..
20" wheel, im sure thats gona be an option as the base will come with 19 if not 18s
Projectors, infinti's whole line up has projectors.. and just about every new 30k car
extra speakers on the seats.. again the Lexus IS which i believe comes with a 300watt 14 piece system mp3, dvd, everything for $45k
Performance, it better do well if it wants to be released in the same year as the skyline but nothing insane where it'll draw attention away from it.

If it is released for $50k than it better be WAY better then what the concept looks like.. the interior looks too under equiped for a car to be priced at 50k

i dont like the tail lights, it think the current ones are sexier. other than that, it looks amazing. Im sure Infiniti engineers actually look at this site so I hope they take note.

The only way i might pay 50k that's if they have a optional engine like let's say 4.5 liter V8. Shoot who am i kidding am getting one either ways...

Well now, I can't wait for the BMW 3 series coupe to be unvailed. My 04' G has almost 50K miles now and my next ride will be either a E90 M3, Skyline or now with the way this car is shaping up heck I might just save a couple of bucks and get this! I like the look, and the rear might look better in person than in the pics.

I remember I did not really like the 2006 BMW 330i in the pictures but when we test drove it and saw it in person it really got our attention and we had to buy one.

But no matter what my next car is going to be I am keeping my present "G" cause she was my 1st "new" car and she will still be my daily driver... This next car will be my weekend toy that I wash and shine... and just stare at...

About that whole no badge thing......

Maybe they are just going to call this thing the Infiniti GT Coupe, and that new vacuum looking car will be called the Infiniti GT-R. I still think they should keep the name G35 regardless of the size of the new V6 motor in there. The G35 has built quite a reputation in the last 4 years. It's a worthwhile name brand to keep around.

I like in the video how they dont have a name for it yet. My buddy watched the auto show today and they said it will not be called a G. We'll see I guess.

Amazing, amazing, amazing.

I was considering going towards the BMW 3 next time around...but it looks like I'll be staying with Infiniti.

I doubt the engine will still be the 3.5 liter, it's probably going to be a 3.7 or soemthing.

My guess as far as badging is...it'll be known as the G Coupe, or G series, they'll probably lose the 35 but keep the G name. Or maybe do it like BMW and have g35, g37, g39, etc,,,

Unhappy

wow, makes me sorta regret buying 06 coupe. I was going to wait, but was afraid the new model might look uglier.

hrm..so if this is going to come out 2008, i wonder what will be different w/ the 07 coupe...since everyone said it was going to be redesigned or maybe this will be the 2007? i was hoping wit the release they would fill us in a bit more... still to many unknowns... fun to speculate though =p

I like it

I think it looks pretty good
from one angle the rear tail lights look like a nissan maximas(side angle)
I like the interior but we all know it wont make it to the production model
But overall
they didnt radically change the shape and i think it looks good.
