Just performed a engine swap last engine had a broken dowel pin and cracked camshaft the one attached to the vvel motor 212k mikes discovered that during gallery gaskets and timing job so got a replacement from a 2011 370z saw it running compression tested and all anyway after all wiring was done went to go start it just clicked new battery and starter after that and still same thing new idpm new battery terminal and fuse same thing alternator is also fairly new now when trying to start I just hear a loud whine almost then a click after lights All go dim voltage drops to 7.8 sometimes 11 when trying to start battery reads 12.7 tried cleaning all grounds looked over relays fuses sensors everything seems to be ok just want some insight if anyone has ever experienced this before after a swap I had to splice in new crank sensor female connecter same for alternator and oil pressure switch upon tear down saw some had some unpinned broke off or corroded last starter burnt out and started smoking so I have a new one installed everything torqued to spec had some water on passenger side floor since then have done the sunroof drain fix no codes all modules hence the new ipdm no u1000 or any codes for that matter I am able to connect to everything key Is registering definitely feels like something electrical but i just can’t find it sounds like fuel pump makes a loud whine then a click then just goes dark on the dash I did all the work on it not a mechanic by any means but I know my way around a engine brand new gaskets top to bottom new z1 coils I just wonder what could cause it not to crank at all almost everything on the block is new any insight is greatly appreciated car has been sitting since may 2024 got the engine maybe 2 months ago and started slowly ordering parts but as of now I have no crank no start will provide a video probably to share what sound it’s making
