Husband is deployed currently. Car has been turned on consistently and run and driven around just a bit but for the last month it’s been sitting and only turned on.
well…noticed a giant spot of coolant on the ground in the driveway. Got the car up on jack stands to find there’s also oil all along the bottom on the pan too, not a ton, but a slow leak somewhere. Our time zones are so wonky that he’s unable to help me figure out what the issue is and where it is coming from. The oil level is close to low but not like OMG it’s going to explode without oil right now.
the coolant housing in the front is completely empty though but it threw a code the last time it needed coolant and now it’s not.
ANY ideas or clues where to start?? It doesn’t seem like there any obvious damage to anything but the car did take on a little bit of water during a flash flood but nothing made it to the interior of the vehicle. Cleaned everything up after the fact and there didn’t seem to be any issues other than needing to clean up the air intake sensors.
Below white line is wet above seems completely dry
