Help with Limp Mode

Hi guys, so I’m running into a little bit of an issue right now with my car. I have a 2010 G37S with a 2014 Q50 3.7 engine swap car is also full bolt on with ISR long tube headers and just very recently tuned. After my tune, my check engine light was still on, and I ended up realizing I had a small header leak at the bottom of my headers from the car, being low and scraping, the tune was working fine the first day and I was using flame map and all my maps just easy, but the next day my car went into limp mode randomly I was nervous and fearing the worst but after I reset the battery one time everything was working fine no issues at all. Go by. I start the car before work in the morning. Same thing it’s in limp mode after I reset the battery. Everything was perfectly fine when I drove the car but this time after I shut the car off for about 20 minutes and turn it back on, it was back in limp mode. I ran the code and saying that one of my banks is bad for my upstream O2. So I’m looking into buying new O2 sensors on z1 but after the 2011 O2 sensors, it says that there’s a different material that they’re made out of so my question is would I buy 2011+ o2 sensors or 2010 because my ECU was not swapped from a 2014.

Hi, my 2011 1.2 TSI golf is sometimes in limp mode however there’s no check engine light .How do I know it’s definitely in limp mode and not something worse. It still can reach road speeds however at a much slower pace then usual.

@vqthomas, Match the sensors to the ECU.

@deakdi, you might be in the wrong forum, i dont believe this is the best place to get advice for your Golf.
