2014 q60s OEM Springs On 09 g37x Coupe
I recently came across 2014 q60s springs and was wondering how it would look on my 2009 Infiniti G37x Coupe. I have always noticed that the sport springs always look lower than non sport and the 14 q60 looks lower as well. I was wondering how much lower these springs would sit on my g compared to my stocks. It may be worth it if it can get an inch+ instead of spending a lot of lowering springs. Plus all the lowering springs seem to be compatible with the q60 and g37 as long as they are coupe and awd so fitment shouldn't be an issue. Thanks.
the 2014-2015 Q60 shares the same chassis as the g37 so the suspension is interchangeable.
The springs between RWD and AWD also work. The springs rates will be different with the AWD rates being higher. Putting RWD springs on your AWD will definitely make your car lower.
Some people also install the 370z springs for a mild drop.

Yeah, I knew they are all technically interchangeable but from what I have heard, the AWD model should stick with AWD springs. My question is specifically about the 2014 AWD q60. Would those springs drop my 09 g37x anymore than stock and if it does, how much would it drop compared to real lowering springs? I can't find spring rates on different models.
It will work and give you what you're looking for.
I'm using 370z springs and struts in the front and I get a fantastic front look. A bit bouncy but the 370z is a different chassis.
The 2014 Q60 is the same chassis. Difference is a bit more weight in the front and shock design.
My suspicion is that the front will be perfect with the the extra weight the diff adds and the rear will be just a hair higher.
You'll need some sort of camber adjustment in the front regardless, you will most likely be at -1.0 to -1.2 camber in the front which is not bad.
Since I have a sedan I used coupe Upper control arms and my front camber is almost at 0
If the rear is too high for you you could play with poly rear spring spacers, these can average in size and this size lowers the lenght of the overall spring. Similar to folks shaving the oem rubber in the rear to obtain more drop.
