Angry 2009 G37 Convertible No spark

Hello Everyone,

I will try to make this short (I doubt it). I have a 2009 G37 Convertible and last year the car turn off while driving with 118000 miles. Towed the car home and diagnostic the car went out of timing. I bought a 2014 G37 Coupe engine with 64K miles, installed new timing kit, new seals, new gaskets, oil and filters. Used the spark plugs out of my old engine as the there were less than 5K miles used, and used my coil packs.

Issue is the car crank but wont start. No spark on coil pack cylinder 1. Crank and Cam sensors are good, car is on time, have power on coil packs, fuel pump and injectors are working, and it cranks evenly and not like out of sequence.

I have 2 ECUs programmed for this car, 2 key fobs, a different IPDM trace all cables and signals to all main sensors and I can validate computer is getting signal BUT is not sending signal to coil packs for spark.

What am I missing????

Thanks in advance.

Yes! The problem was in the blowed up ecu spark driver!
This chip(driver) has 8 paws

6 - spark
2 - VVTI solenoid

In my case this chip was in a short circuit

Okay sounds good I don’t know how hard that would be but seems super hard did you get it done yourself or had someone else do it!
