Hi all,

a couple days ago I was leaving work at night and accidentally ran through a big puddle I did not see.
As soon as I exited the puddle my steering is completely stiff - still works but is hard to turn. My brother who works on Infinitis took a look and nothing was broken and we changed power steering to see if it would help - it didn’t. Then we took it to a shop thinking maybe it needed an alignment - it doesn’t. The mechanic said that the water could’ve possibly got into the rack and pinion and ruined it? No sign of exterior damage though.
Does anyone know what’s going on? I wish I saw the puddle
