Low Pick Up

So for context, I was driving on the highway to the airport, and the whole time the car was doing fine. However after stopping at the airport to unload, the car started acting weird? It would shake and jerk when stopped (foot on the break while in drive), and the pickup was not as fast as normal, and the service engine light was blinking. Normally it is on because we have ordered to catalytic converts and have yet to install it. Any ideas what this might be as I want to try and solve this at home but I am not sure where to start. My car is a 2010 G37 coupe.

Driving with a blinking check engine light is not good. When mine started blinking it turns out it was because I needed a new flex plate. Get a code reader and start from there.

Failed plug possibly? I have had a slight stutter before...no check engine light, and when I changed the plugs it was fine.

Sounds like a misfire. With a sudden onset the way you described it, I would take a guess at it being a failed coil pack. Best bet is to have it scanned, Easy enough to do, its typically done for free at most auto parts stores or you could purchase a scan tool, or purchase an OBDII bluetooth adapter and download an app like TorquPro or OBD Fusion on your phone and read the codes. Keep us updated on the results!

I second this i think its a misfire, easy way to tell is to rev the car and if it sounds like a go kart and isnt revving up smoothly its misfiring
