Do you know what's "better" Berk test pipes or FI test pipes? what are the differences?

He meant "better" as in it's better to eventually get tuned than not to, but you don't "need" a tune.

FI uses a J-shaped O2 sensor extension which safeguards against a CEL better than the short connector design.

I believe Berk has support for the bracket connector that runs under the transmission, whereas the FI parts don't. Never understood why that is.

Then there's cell count, I think Berk used to be a 200 ct, whereas FI is 300, but don't quote me on that. Things change.

Lastly, Berk is much less expensive, or at least it used to be that way. Again, things change.

That's enough spoonfeeding to get you started researching a decision. Good luck. Welcome to the forum. Use the search feature and spend some time, there's a HUGE wealth of information here for you to find.

If you look up in the forums about the Berk tp they usually crack for some reason around the resonators. FI however uses better quality and craftsmanship. But just an overview they both do the same task, but one is created better than the other.

Test pipes usually lean out the air fuels, something to keep in mind. A OBD scanner can let you know how your airfuels are doing.
Depending on how lean they get you might not have a choice but to tune.
