Hello ya'll. I have a leak in my passenger side glove compartment area. I have seen water and condensation dripping down the plastic in the footwell. I have researched the issue and found many posts about sun roof issues, but my car does not have a sun roof. This has happened maybe 3 times since I've owned the car, and I thought It was just from my feet. I can't find other posts on the issue where the car is sunroof-less. I want to have a good idea on the issue as I don't want to take my car to the mechanic and have it sit there for months until they find the leak. Thanks!

 

Where exactly do you see the water dripping down? Plz, be specific...

Being that you do NOT have a sunroof, the leak is likely from the windshield cowl seal failing. Here is a simple test:

1) pull down the lower dash panel (passenger side). Is it wet?

Then,
2) Check the cabin air filter. Is that wet or does it show signs of having been wet?

Depending on those results we can investigate further. I would suggest you pull up the carpet and see how much water has accumulated, if any.
