Not sure what is going on this past weekend, but it seems like there were a lot of shunts involving G37 coupes. Besides the threads asking about crash damage estimates here, there was an story from my hometown. I live in Denver, CO and the story of this accident was beyond crazed. Here's a link:

Apparently the driver of this G37C was part of a pack of drifters who stopped traffic on a four-lane highway so they could pull donuts. The video shows a G37C spinning around eastbound and hitting a truck square in the front . What we don't see is the drivers of both vehicles getting out and the truck driver pulling out a shotgun and emptying both barrels into the Infiniti! Nobody was in the G37C, but this kind of pandemic road rage has escalated to new highs (or lows). The shotgun wielding truck driver took off, and police are still searching for him. The news report seems to indicate the G37C owner/driver was arrested on the scene.

 

They are becoming more affordable. Add this to the fact that these cars can drift easily and you have a nice recipe for disaster.
It used to be the Z guys, The G since it can seat 4 and has the same power it's moved to the preferred platform especially since Autos drift with no problems.

Kids, irresponsible drivers, folks who need the excuse to.

If you think about it not many powerful V6 RWD cars that seat 4 with 300hp. A recipe indeed.

 

BTW the car in the video is a First gen G35 coupe with an open diff. **** had no business, that's just sad.
