Greetings G37, I have been a long time lurker, who recently purchased my irst g37xs!!

I have honestly been searching the website in regards to spoilers, but I still can't seem to find the answer I am looking for.


So I noticed there are a few spoilers for the g37, however is there an actual OEM g37 spoiler WITH a camera open slot?

Does anyone know where I can get this similar/same spoiler? Also, do I have to bolt them? or do I take off those slips on the bottom and just stick it on top?

welcome to the G fam and site good sir!!! looking for a spoiler i see ayyyy, for our cars theres really not THAT many options to choose from its like a handful... if you do find a spoiler you like please make sure it is OEM original. trust me youll regret it when you buy knock off and have fitment issues... best of luck man!

I have my silver coupe with the Oem lip spoiler and it stands out nicely. Besides you don't see too many of them on G coupes because they all opt for the regular silver chrome piece and I'm not to keen on that one.

 

Next on my list

 

I bought mine off of ebay, OEM. $265 for the spoiler, $90 for labor to install it. All in all, I think I made out like a bandit.

 

the oem spoiler from the dealer lists for $530....you will need to drill 5-6 holes ...one calls for a 23/32 drill bit....the camera and light plug in and have rubber gromets ...my detailer installed it in 1 hour for $55.....it comes with a templet....IMO the OEM looks best

On a side note, do you guys prefer the rear spoilers WITH the break lights? or the spoilers without? For an example, like the one below

Also, besides emailing the buyer themselves, is there a way to tell if they are OEM?

The one you linked is NOT, OEM.

OEM spoilers all have brake lights.

If a piece is OEM, they should have that in the title of the item, and some proof of it somewhere else on the listing as well. Post them here when you find one that you are looking at.

2012 G37 Coupe Exterior Accessories
Mine is red so it was only ~$265 dollars. If yours is another color you could probably still get a red/blue one and have it painted for less than the $530 for the other colors.

Get the OEM one and install it yourself. The instructions are easy and straightforward.

Also, The OEM spoiler comes with new gas struts for your trunk to compensate for the extra weight... a nice bonus!

 

if it says factory style, or oem style it is not OEM. its a knockoff and the fitment like all replicas will be crap

 

damn $550 with shipping, thats quite pricey.

Have you bought from them beforw? Because it doesnt even show how it looks like on the website.
