I just got done plastidipping my chrome trunk spoiler lid.

Has anyone tried these universal LED spoilers? I may give one a shot from Amazon since it's only $40 and I'm having trouble locating a OEM spoiler and wouldn't fill too comfortable drilling holes in my trunk.


I did two more coats after this. I'll let it dry for a day or two before adding deglossifier. If I don't like the plastidip the best part is it peeps right off, but I hate the chrome so it's gotta be black. Front Grille will be next.



I googled but couldn't find any Gs with this OPT7 LED Universal spoiler.

 

 

Btw, most lip spoilers will just use 3M auto tape to stick on. No holes and they are solid. Trust me.. it was a pain to take off after 3/4 or so years when I sold my sedan.

 

I went ahead and order a black spoiler from Spoiler Source. $125 shipped painted and delivered w/ clear LED lens. Not OEM but close enough. Now this LED OPT7 spoiler just chilling on my pool table, if I out it on back top roof window is that too ricey? I'm thinking yes.espexially with my Diode Dynamics circle tails.

Next mod:. Prob Bat overlays for rear and front lights..(with grille painted black). May as well have a pro do them at the same time.

Then eventually swap from Journey to Sport bumper and that's it.
And then look at options from there.
