Hi everyone. This is my first post. I have a g37 coupe. I decided to make my own 3” dual intakes. They look great. The issue I’m having is with cold starts. The MAF can’t read enough air flowing though them. The car thinks that there’s no air flow so doesn’t give it enough gas. I’ve done the idle relearn successfully but it’s done when the car is warm and it hasn’t help. I’ve also tried moving them closer to the throttle body with no luck. Is the a MAF that I can purchase with more sensitivity. Would a Tune be my only option? Thanks in advance for any help.

think stillens is 2.75 & doesn’t need tune- moncef from Admin said u would guarantee need tune for 3 inch cai
Obviously some of the performance benefits are gone, but you wouldn't have them without a tune anyway.
Thank you very much.
I cut the 3” before the MAF and made a 2.75” reducer, welded in and it help a whole lot with the cold start. Still has a slight hesitation at cold start but evens itself out. Idles perfect when warmed up and no issues when driving.
