Admin tuning 3" CAI's. Hype / Worth it?

If you already have the Z1 400HP package, Takadia CIA, and Exhaust but are pre-tuned, is Admin really worth it? Same goes for the EPS throttle bodies.

Can anyone speak from experience?

The 3" throttle bodies are proven horsepower gainers. I can't say if the cost is worth it, that's strictly up to you.

I'm sure you've visited his YouTube channel but he has good evidence backing gains from both. I've been following him for quite some time now and will be contacting him soon. Legit products and from what I can tell, a damn good tuner. Besides the gains, good reviews, and support he provides; the remote e-tune really sold it for me. I'll do a dyno locally then install his 3" intakes, EPS TB's, and an UpRev tune. Then go do some driving and pulls for datalogging, send that data back to him for a revised tune, reflash.

Also found some other cool info out. Check out CWorksDesign. He is the guy that does the intakes, catch cans, etc for AdminTuning. He is making custom Titanium 3" intakes (just like Admin's) and can do a burnt finish on them, beautiful stuff but at least $1k for those bad boys. I might hit him up for some polished parts for the engine bay.

I'd be interested in a weight comparison of the OE and Ti intakes. The goal is to always add lightness.

Definitely lighter but not enough to make a difference though. Not much weight to the intakes to begin with. If you're building a track car then sure, every bit helps.

check out RZG Motorsports 550 for intakes and less build time for there 3 inch intakes...From my tuner below
I've seen gains on most cars. Nothing insane but roughly 5 whp to 10 whp. One car we saw a little less

Not sure why I didn't see this thread before, but I bought admin intakes & ecutek remote tune.

I got a baseline dyno with only FI HFC & FI 2.25 exhaust and made 285whp.

After intake, tune and switching to isr test pipes I made 305whp.

I made as much as +27whp max before peak power.

I have RZG 3" intakes and made similar gains except i have a custom ported intake manifold and hfc instead of test pipes.
Baseline tune(kinetix hfc, ebay ypipe, 3" wide 12" extension, isr street exhaust 370z): 276 whp
Upgrades(rzg 3" intakes+ custom ported Upper and lower manifold) + tune: 306 whp
This is on a 08 5at with 150k
