Feedback Catalytic Converter, Radio and Purge control valve
Hello Everyone!
I just got my car checked out at the dealership and they said the crossbar Catalytic converter, radio head unit and Purge control valve need to be replaced.
Had anyone fixed it themselves? If so, How was it? Is it worth it?
Any used radio head unit for sale?
Please let me know if you can give me any feedback about this.
Thank you,
T

1. Not sure what the "crossbar" catalytic converter is referring to;
2. Radio headunits are a dime a dozen on eBay. Should take 30min. to 1hr. to swap it out. Just be sure to match part #'s EXACTLY.
3. Vent control valve is another easy fix but can be aggravating due to location and age.
If the catalytic converters are failing then you should research aftermarket options. New cats from the dealer will be expensive (at least $600 each) unless you find a decent, low mileage set.

Maybe cat converter brace that secures it? That would be a weird one though lol. Never seen that cause an issue. But like ILM-NC G37S said, if the cats are going, research aftermarket options.
