ISR Single Exhaust on G37 coupe

Wow been a while since I've been around on these forums. Decided to give a quick review of the ISR single exit on our cars. Sounds good, very light, big power gains at the top end. Video attached. You need a 12" extension to fit them on our cars since they are made for the 370z. I went 14" so my bumper doesn't burn off. I know what you're thinking single exits are ugly on our cars. I agree but for the price and power gains, I've been having to deal with it. It's grown on me a bit. Worthy exhaust nonetheless.

Admintuning did a dyno run before and after versus a full catback and no tuning added. The car gained 6~ whp and moved the entire top end of the graph up.

Sounds like hp that you can't feel. I'd rather stick with a dual exhaust on a rear bumper that has half oval spots on both sides where the exhaust goes.

Yup but with a resonated Y you can fix that rasp. Tomei is too loud for me that's why I didn't get that.

where did you get the 14-inch extension from? Did you get it custom made?

I bought a 12" extension from topspeed and then took it to a local muffler shop to have them weld on 2 more inches. No one sells a 14" extension.

How did you get your tip to stick out that far? I'm trying to install mine right now and the tip is tucked under the bumper still. But I still haven't welded on the extension yet. Did adding the extension just adjust all that?

You need to add 2" to the extension so its 14" total.

The biggest gains you'll see from this is probably the fact that you're removing like... 20-30lbs of exhaust compared to stock.
