Oil Pan replacement

Hey guys so I’m planning to replace my oil pan on my 14 Q60s coupe and since the replacement which is the Spectra Premium oil pan has a gasket do I need some sort of adhesive to apply or am I fine with just the gasket? Stupid oil plug won’t come out just stayed loose so now I gotta buy a whole new oil pan.

I just used the Nissan Ultra Gray gasket stuff... if its good enough for the timing cover its good enough for the oil pan... It was actually on the oil pan originally from the factory.

I’m assuming I get that from the Nissan or Infiniti dealership right?

I usually use Ultra Grey:
https://www.permatex.com/products/ga...asket-maker-2/

It is listed in the "Recommended Chemical Products & Sealants chart of the General Information section of the factory shop manual.
It might be much easier to get.

Ultra black would be a good option as well, no? That seems to be specifically marketed to keep warranties in tact as well as having "increased oil resistance."

In a pinch you could use black, but if you are prepping for the job just get grey.

For the oil pan, Ultra Black or Ultra Grey should work well.
