G37 Oil drain plug slight leak?

I've changed my own oil countless times and never had any leaks. I replaced the oil pan and did an oil change with the new pan installed and still never had any leaks. Now on my 2nd oil change from the new oil pan, I'm getting a slight leak in the drain plug area.
I'm using a new washer and torqued it to spec like usual.

Should I tighten it up by 5 ftlbs more?

possible bad washer. get another washer and check it again. btw why was the original oil pan replaced? are you sure you don't have additional oil leaks from elsewhere

Used a brand new washer but could be! And oil pan was replaced and had no leaks previously when it was installed with oil added in. I think the washer didn't compress fully at 25 ft lbs. Noticed a slight leak after wiping the oil plug. Can see oil on the copper washer after wiping.

Yes, Why was the original oil pan replaced?
Did the new oil pan come with its own drain plug or did you use the drain plug from the original oil pan.?
Did the replacement oil pan come from a dealer or is it some cheap Chinese knockoff?

It could be the washer, but it shouldn't need that kind of precision not to leak...I think most people just tighten til snug

the oil pan bolts on the other hand do require some precision...did you torque and seal the pan in the correct sequence and properly clean all the old gasket off and not score the surface?...the pan bolts are very low torque bolts and the liquid gasket needs to be half torqued before final tightening and wont seal properly if over torqued, maybe check to see if the leak is really from one of the pan bolts and pooling near the drain plug if its a very small leak it could be that...good luck and post up when its fixed

The previous oil pan got crushed along with the oil pickup tube. Replacement came from a dealer and it came with a drain plug. I changed the oil with the new oil pan before and never had any leaks.

Yep made sure to install it correctly and did the right sequence when installing. I've already changed the oil with the new pan installed and it never leaked previously until the most recent oil change.

I'd give it another 5 lb-ft. If that doesn't work, live with until your next oil change and replace the gasket. Occam's razor sez it's the culprit.
