The Coupe uses three (3) different weatherstripping pieces for the "frameless" door windows. Either one (or all) of these pieces can fail and allow water to drip in above the mirror/tweeter joint. In my case, the seals were showing their age (13 years) despite routine cleaning and applying Shin Etsu lubricant. Water was dripping down from the mirror joint, across both speaker faces, and puddling on the floor.
Here are the diagrams and part numbers:
"A"= Upper Body Weatherstrip (L) 76861-JL00A (R) 76860-JL00A
"B"= Mirror Corner Support Seal (L) 80833-JL00A (R) 80832-JL00A
"C"= Lower Door Weatherstrip (L) 80831-JL00A (R) 80830-JL00A
Contrary to what the parts people say, you DO NOT need to order any clips. All new seals come with new clips and adhesive.
Be advised, you WILL HAVE TO REMOVE the interior door panel AND the tweeter/mirror pieces in order to replace the Mirror Support Seal ("B") and the Lower Door Seal ("C").
Coupe owners: when you open the door, if you have ANY water drops on the door sill- especially if your car has been sitting during/after a rain event- check your seals (and for water under the carpet).
