Can I drive with no passenger seat?

I currently have the floor ripped up on the passenger side. I’m curious if I can drive without the seat (mostly just concerned about the airbag light) and will I be able to reset the light when I put the seat back in after cleaning all the water out?

Yeah, but any airbag light and NONE of the airbags will work. Keep that in mind.

Cool, thanks! Don’t worry, not planning on crashing

I noticed another thread about resetting by turning on and off the ignition. Will be trying that once I get things back together

You may need an OBDII / SRS reset tool (any large tire/mechanic shop should have one).

Or you can get them on Amazon for about $150.

^ Don't need anything expensive. OBD Bluetooth adapter + OBD Fusion app. I used it to reset my airbag light when I forgot to plug it back in once and started the car. The code won't clear without it.

I have a cheapo obd connector for my phone, hopefully when I get it all back together I can use that to clear it all. I’ll try the ignition dance just to see if it works, though

Quick update, just popped the connectors back in the seat with the seat outside the car. The ignition dance works!
