I bought mine new. In 60k miles and nine years of ownership, my only reliability issues were one failed window controller, sunroof drains, and A/C compressor controller.

Not to stray off topic:
Slarti, would you consider the G37 to be a unreliable car based on your issues?

All cars have problems, but I would still consider the G37 to be a highly reliable car. Other people will form their own criteria to define "reliable-" it is a subjective term to begin with...

It's less reliable than my '94 Sentra SE-R which never gave me trouble even with autocrossing and track days and many mod$.

It has had more problems than my '07 Miata which only had the top replaced under warranty.

Every time I drive it, I wonder if that's the day the oil gallery gasket fails.

That said, I still enjoy driving it and have no plans to replace it. I nudged a friend into replacing his old Altima with a '17 Q60.

Every time I drive it, I wonder if that's the day the CSC fails again. Every. Single. Time.

Ill count myself lucky perhaps, 2008 G37S Sport now with 167K miles, no mechanical issues whatsoever except normal maintenance. The only cosmetic issues I have with the car are stone chips from driving on California's wonderful highways and a crease In the drivers rear quarter panel when someone backed out of a parking lot and knocked my car

We bought our 2013S 6MT new. It has 49,000 miles. It is a blast to drive and proven very reliable.

We have had no mechanical problems of any kind, including rack & pinion or differential bushing. We do maintain carefully, normally beyond Infiniti’s recommended schedule. Other than maintenance, we put it a new set of OEM tires.

Good luck with yours

Only problem I've had with the vehicle is the gallery gasket failing. Friend was making payments to me for the G and didn't properly do oil changes... Other than that... Flawless . Extremely reliable. Just the darn Gallery Gasket. That's the ONLY problem I've had with the vehicle. Which should be prevented with proper maintenance.
