G37S Common Issues?
Just became a proud owner today of a 2010 G37s 50K mi. Everything on the car is great except for two things: 1 right rack and pinion is leaking and the rear differential bushing is leaking. Are these common problems? What should I expect to pay? Other than that, fantastic condition.

My 2¢...
Diff bushing is a common issue and here is a cheap and easy fix:
And a year later follow up:
As for the rack and pinion leaking, I am not so sure if it is a common problem.
My 2011 doesn't leak, but I do change the power steering fluid every few years:

You said it's easy to install, you have a guide that can show me how to do so? I think I need to replace my power steering rack too. It's leaking but slowly though. Dealer wanted $2k for it, dam.

maybe a YouTube video can better explain it than I can over a typed message online but my new rack came with inner and outer tie rods so literally just unbolted the metal plates that cover the rack and gotta bleed the lines that are on the left side then it basically just drops down after disassembling the outer tie rods; one of the easier racks to replace on this car thankfully, I also had someone help me so might want a second person around.
How did you determine for certain that it needed to be replaced? Mine leaks a little (not sure on source yet) and I don't mind doing the work myself to change it if needed.
For the people with leaking racks why not just try atf with stop leak first instead of replacing the rack? Valvoline Maxlife has been working wonders for about a decade in my Volvo with a leak. And a tip for whining when turning the wheel. Take off power steering cap, jack front wheels off the ground, turn car to on without starting it, turn lock to lock slowly 20 times to release air in system.
I thought these were reliable but probably the most opposite . Power steering pump, brake booster, rear diff mount, catalytic converter all before 35k. That is just the major stuff. Never had so many issues even in german cars at much higher mileage. Good thing I have the infiniti elite and if not, at least parts are pretty cheap. Last Infiniti. G37 was their best car anyway.

That is your subjective opinion and you are entitled to same.
In mine, 2008 Coupe w/≈107K miles and outside of failed radiator fan motors this car has been mechanically rock solid. Cosmetic (interior) issues, yes, but nothing near your level of complaints.
Pretty damn reliable, IMO ("and I am unanimous in that!").
Not necessarily. Unless you bought the car brand new you can not be totally sure of the car's provenance.
