Help with Taillight mod decision

Tomorrow, (Sunday) I am getting my emblems, grille, and trim plastidipped to matte black from the stock chrome (Also removing the letters on trunk that say I N F I N I T I) I have a stock moonlight white g37s coupe and this is my first mod. I don’t know what I should do with my taillights. Idk if I want them smoked, tinted, cutouts, enc... Does anybody know what would look best with the black badges on the white coupe? Thanks!

These photos are of my g. (Stock ;()

It's been 1 day lol, be patient.

This is all a matter of opinion so no one will know what looks best. Having said that, I love my OneEighty NYC GTR style taillights. They are custom painted not overlays. Blue Bat overlays are another good option as well; just depends on what style you like and how dark/opaque you want them.

I went with Blue Bat GTR style overlays and I'm happy with them.

I don't see too many people do this, but I red'ed out the 3rd brake light and the reverse sections. I think it really cleans up the back end. I'm also a minimalist.

It's been one day. Also, there's a HUGE selection of threads you can search for taillight mods/ overlays etc. That way you can see pictures and get ideas on what YOU would like to do to YOUR car.
Search is your friend, my friend.

Have you considered the depo tail lights? I like how they have that clear tint to them.

Regardless of what you do, be aware that if someone rear ends you, and the adjuster sees you have tinted tail lights and decides the mod may have contributed to your accident, they can deny your claim since you altered the safety equipment of your vehicle.

Also, my state is a 'contributory' state. If the opposing attorney can prove you contributed to your injuries (assuming you are rear ended) by as little as 1% -- Case dismissed.

Stuff to consider when planning this one.

One of the reasons why I got the GTR style tailights lol. No light output is blocked or reduced because the paint outlines the lights.

And this is assuming attorney's get involved with the accident. I have been in several (not at fault) and have never had to deal with attorneys. Of course everyone's situation is different.

GTR style is the way to go if you're going to mod them. I had the full on tint and it looked really good. Then, browsing Reddit, I saw someone having issues with coverage due to their smoked tail lights. Took them off right when I got home.

Not taillight related but you need some black rims ASAP.
