I believe this is only a feature on cars with the journey package and is not available on sport models. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but my 2013 g37s coupe does not have the feature while my 2013 g37 journey coupe did.

The only automation performed by my car on door open is to turn on the interior lights.

If you have it it would be located in your infotainment center under "comfort"

i didn't think coupes got this option, with the reason being that if you had a passenger behind you, the seat moving back would crush their legs.

i would like that feature, considering that in over 3 years of ownership, i've had someone sitting behind me once.

Now, my car has that but it doesn't activate on door open/door close, only engine start/stop. Someone needs to define the door open/close automation expected.

Set your Mem1 to all the way back, steering wheel up..whatever. Tie it to the FOB.
Set mem2 to your driving position.
When you get in hit mem2, before you get out hit mem1.
After a while it becomes habit.
Did this for 4 years.
Did it for 5 years on an Acura.

you have a sedan (in your sig, at least.)

coupe has about 4 inches of space for rear legroom. someone sitting back there would get their knees destroyed if the seat moved back to its furthest position.

Infiniti should have put a sensor to detect a rear passenger, because i would like that feature. my cousin's kid's G35 sedan has it.

I grok fullness in that regard. I don't grok fullness on what's expected on door open/close besides the interior lights.
