Hello I have a question about the loudness of exhaust during cold starts.. I currently have a muffler delete with stock piping cat to axle. Its actually not as loud as I thought it would be while driving normally.. but cold starts on a cold morning is brutal lol. I expected this .. but im absolutely in love with the sound as a daily. Seems a bit pricey blah blah get a full cat back .. no thanks.. just want to reduce the loudness of a cold start. Thanks!

 

Since no one has replied, seems like you already know what needs to be done. Add an electric cutout. There are a few ways you could go about it. Reinstall your factory muffler, and have an exhaust shop weld two electric cutouts, one for each side of the exhaust. However, if you really want a nicer setup, go with a single exit, then add an electric cutout. That's my opinion, but I personally would not do either. For the price, just save up for a decent axle back. Trust me you'll be happier.
